Young people often ignore this while planning their study in any institution in foreign country.  Many educational institutions are recently incorporated and they are allowed to accept minimum number of international students. They are not fully authorized. Try to choose old university or college who has history to narrate. In Canada, UK and USA there are many century old universities and colleges educating young boys and girls globally. Such institutes can be banked upon.

2.     Current Status

Study Abroad aspirants must visit the website, facebook page or any other social media account where they can see how the institute is operating. Many institutes are just building, not actively working and advancing; please don’t choose such college, school or university. Find an institution which has built a reputation since its establishment.  Try to know , if the institute is preferred by local students of area or not. If you find reputation and local acceptance convincing you can think of it.

3.     Rankings

This is crucial , it impacts your visa success ratio. Check out national and international rankings of the university you are thinking to get enrolled in. QS World Ranking , World University Ranking , Times Higher Education Rankings , European University Rankings and Shanghai University Ranking are some of the rankings given to educational institutes. Find out the rankings before getting admission, don’t choose any university or college which is not ranked by one of these ranking bodies.

If you find the institute well ranked or in the top 100 institutions of the UK , you can consider for application. If not , please don’t apply.

4.     Expertise

This is really important for your visa success and future as well. try to find out most popular programs the universities offer. You may find many institutions offering same programs but you have to get to know that they are expert at.

For example BPP university specializes in Business , Management , Finance , Accounting , Banking and other business and management related programs. If you want to pursue business management program , choose this university. Don’t choose any university which is not expert at what you are looking for.

5.     Awards

Has the particular university or college been awarded by local or national administrations ?  BPP University has won Diversity Champion of the Year Award. While,  University of Bradford has been given WiSe Technician Award.  If the university is not recognized and awarded , please don’t choose , find other better university.

6.     Visa Success Ration

The UK high commission does not approve to every institution , many colleges are blacklisted or don’t get considered for visa approval. There is not such evident but it is true.
