F1 visa is for attending High School,
College or University, Private elementary school, Seminary, Conservatory and
any other academic institute or language programs.
M1- Visa is required by those who are
to be enrolled in Vocational training, which is recognized as non-academic
institutes or programs.

Step – Get to know
the eligibility Criteria – This is very important to save your time and take a
better decision for your career. Many applicants don’t know entry requirement

requirements thoroughly.

Step – Get accepted
at a SEVP Institution –
International students are allowed to study at SEVP approved educational
institutions, if your academia is not approved by this ,you will not be offered
a place or your visa application will not be accepted by US Consulate in
your home country. Having confirmed this
, you will apply for Offer Letter , Which is known As I-20. Once you are
accepted by University or College , you are to follow an important step. If you
don’t do this your application is incomplete. It is that You have to get
registered for Student and Exchange Visitor Information System which is
known as SEVIS I-901, you have to pay registration fees , which is
around $350 for M1 ,M3 , F1 and F3. After registration and payment OF I-901.
3rd
Step – Filling
DS-160 Form – It is actually Visa application form which you are to fill
online and book your appointment. For appointment and Interview , you are to
pay $160, it is your embassy fee for your visa application. You get the
print out of the final page of this Form.
4th
step – Attend
Interview – You are to go to the embassy on the given date and time for
interview. Visa and Immigration Officer is going to interview you. He finds you
a bona fide student, you are asked to submit your documents and passport for
visa stamping. When you go to attend your interview, you must carry your academic
qualifications, SEVIS Receipt, I20 – Final Page of DS 160, Financial Evidence
and so on.
5th
Step – Get your visa
– Having submitted your required docs, the Consulate will send your passport
after stamping visa sticker. You can go for further process.
