Model Answer – 285 Words
The innovation in technology has revolutionized the world and it is deployed in almost every field of work. Many manual works which people would do are done by machines these days. Although the technology offers numerous benefits, it contributes to unemployment in some sectors.
One of the most evident negative aspects of technological revolution is this that those who cannot operate machines and computers, are becoming jobless. For example, in past the agriculture and construction sectors would employ large number of people from rural and semi urban areas in building houses, planting and harvesting in both sectors respectively. These days’ farmers and builders use machines to execute their agricultural and constructions works which help them save time and money. This trend increases unemployment in countryside and developing urban areas.
To summarize, the computers and robots are widely deployed to do various activities which earlier used to be performed by men and women. In my views, the technology has assisted the humans in multifarious ways. However, it decreases work opportunities for those who don’t operate machines and computers.
