International English Language Testing System which is popularly known as IELTS will change a bit in the future. IELTS is owned by Cambridge University and IDP. In 2023 , IDP and Cambridge University are planning to bring some fundamental change so students don’t opt for other ESOL Exams such as PTE , TEOFEL or CELPIP , UKVI and other. It is often heard that IELTS is Unfair , Students don’t get the score they deserve or making of IELTS is biased. IELTS Test Takers often say that the exam is harder than other exams and passing percentage is very low.
Many
students from Asian Countries have started to take PTE , CELPIP , UKVI , Duolingo
and other English Proficiency Exams to get accepted in English Speaking
Countries.
Will
IELTS be Easy in 2023?
IELTS Exam
is going to be as it is. However, few changes are expected, IELTS Speaking
Interview is going to be online. Presently, it is up to students whether they
want to Take IELTS Interview Online or Offline. But in 2023, it will be
conducted online and it is expected that native English Speaker is going to
conduct the interview session. This is
going to help Students who learn English as Second Language. Because native English Speakers don’t give
much heed to minor details of English. They just want to asses Fluency, Grammar
, Vocabulary and Pronunciation. They don’t give much emphasis on Grammar. They
would just evaluate how well you communicate in English.
Will the
Pattern of IELTS Change in 2023?
It is not
going to change, all four modules will be conducted as they are conducted
now. It seems impossible because , Cambridge
University has availed 17 IELTS Books for students to prepare and take exam. If
Pattern get changed then all 17 books have to be cancelled. IDP and Cambridge
will have to provide latest study material for test takers and it may
disinterest students for IELTS. Already
Students are not much interested to take IELTS if this pattern is changed they don’t
take this exam and the business of IDP and Cambridge will dwindle.
Will
Students get good Result in 2023?
It is
expected that IELTS marking is going to please students. IELTS Test Papers will not be examined or
checked in the home country of Candidate.
Papers will be checked on screen or transported to other country. One more thing, to compete with other ESOL
Exams , IDP or Cambridge may relax marking criteria to win the trust back so
more candidates to take IELTS.
When will
One Module Retake Facility Start in India?
It has
already started in Australia and it is
going to be rolled out in India by March 2023. The candidate will be able to
appear in Single Module if he doesn’t get required or desired Score. It is believed that this will be great relaxation
for students. Because , many students fail one module and clear others , in
such case , they will be able to appear in a Single Module which they need to.
