Repeated Task 2 Statement

The key to solving the environmental problems is for the present generation to sacrifice their convenient lifestyle for the sake of future generations.   Do you agree or disagree with the statement.     17th February 2022 – India

The world has been facing several environmental problems and most of such issues have been caused by the past and present generations. I believe that men and women must adapt to less comfortable life so next generation could have better environmental conditions.

The fact cannot be denied that the world has done a great damage to the climate and it has been constantly deteriorating. If we don’t take preventative measurements to improve and sustain the atmosphere around us, the future may present disastrous consequences to face. It is also true that our lifestyle poses serious threat to the environment because we have become habitual to lead a comfortable life without considering its effects on the surroundings. I think the time has come when the world should collectively adapt to the ways which don’t harm the climate.

I believe that the present generation should compromise its living standard to provide safe surroundings to upcoming generations. People can embrace to environment friendly living such as using less transportation, preventing deforestation, preserving natural resources and growing crops naturally. It is advisable to live simplified life so that the environmental conditions could be improved for the future. In my countries, young environmentalists urge people become conscious about their actions that cause many problems to the natural habitats.   In my opinion , We must take the cognizance of our day- to- day activities and make necessary amendments  to protect and improve the environment.

To summarize, People have become addict to comfortable lifestyle and they are less conscious about the wellbeing of the mother earth. It is our responsibility to make earth livable for present and future generations by changing our living standards.
