Some people believe that individuals who make a lot of money are most successful. Others think that those who contribute to society like scientists and teachers are most successful.   Discuss both views and give your opinion.

Idea 1 – possessing money is a definition of success.  

Idea 2 – Professionals such as educators and scientists are successful because they contribute to society.

Model Answer -

A majority of people consider that acquisition of wealth is the only measurement of success while others believe that those who influence society by their services are successful.  I think that contribution to the community is always valued. However, wealth creation has been the ultimate goal of human beings.

 The fact cannot be denied that acquiring more money has become the first priority of people and they believe that this makes them influential in the society. It is because the world judges men and women by their bank balance and standard of living.  If people have prosperity and they are considered valuable in the world whether they make least contribution to the society. This is also true that possessing a lot of money is important to live a better life and help people in certain ways. That is why possession of more money is titled as a success. 

Many educators and scientists work tirelessly to uplift the standard of society and mitigate several key problems. Their contribution is ultimate so they are valued and followed by people.  The teachers, scientists, doctors and many more professionals from different fields are successful because lead and influence people positively and contribute directly.  It is generally believed that their contribution speaks the volume of their success and prosperity.  They have a motive to educate, heal or solve severe problems of the world.  Many teachers, scientists, doctors are adored by the world. However they possess less amount of money.

 To summarize,  the contribution to society is the true definition of success because it changes the life of people directly and become an example for others. I would say that people must come forward to support the people around them so this world could be a better place.
