Clothes
Where
do you buy most of your clothes ?
Most
of the time , I buy from local shops in my hometown. I don’t go to big
showrooms because they are very expensive. If I don’t get the clothing items I
am looking for than I shop online.
It
depends on the need and seasons, I most buy clothes according to seasons, when
the winter starts I purchase woolen clothes, sweaters, jackets and tracksuits. In
summer, I prefer to buy light color clothes, such as half sleeve t-shirt, shirt
and jeans or trousers. Sometimes I buy clothes for special occasions such as
marriage parties or birthday celebrations of my kith and kin
How
do you decide which clothes to buy?
I
mostly think of the season and need, I don’t spend money on clothes
unnecessarily. But I buy clothes according to season and fashion. I discuss
with my friends and ask them to help me shop. Sometimes, I browse something
e-commerce sites which offer better clothes and discount and buy from there.
Yes,
I don’t wear the clothes I used to wear 4-5 years ago. I like to wear dresses
according to fashion and trends. Earlier, I did not care much what the fashion
is. I would just buy any good stuff of clothing.
Part
2 Cue Card
Describe
an interesting discussion you had about how you spend your money. You
should say:- Who
you had the discussion with Why
you discussed this topic What
the result of discussion was And
explain why this discussion was interesting for you. |
Managing
money is an important skill and everyone must work on this. I have been very
poor at money management and used to think that I don’t need to learn this.
Recently,
I sat with one of friends who is a charted accountant working with a reputed
multinational company. he was working one Balance Sheet of the company and I asked
what he is going. He told me that he is checking out what the company has made through
mutual funds. I asked What is mutual fund
Money
and young people
Why do some parents give their children money to spend each week?
Many parents give pocket money to their children for many reasons. Firstly, they should have money in their pocket so they can buy stationary and buy food . they may hang out with their friends and buy something they want. Apart from this , parents give their children money weekly so they don’t feel inferior before others.
Do
you think it is a good idea for students to earn money while studying?
I
would say that high school goers should involve themselves in activities which
make them money. Making money is a most
important skill that children should develop while studying. If they learn to
earn money, they won’t depend on their parents and authorities for
survival. Earning money may boost their
morale and they may start something big in the future which can help other earn
money.
Money
has become the first priority of people. it is generally believed that you can
buy what you need to make your life comfortable and happy. In my cases , money
can play a major role in your happiness but we cannot say that having a lot of
money or having the ability to buy anything makes one happy. I have seen many
people have all luxuries of life and lot of money, but they are still unhappy.
In
many countries, gap between rich and poor is ever growing. Rich are becoming richer
and poor are becoming poorer. It creates a double standard in the society. People
who have very little money and limited resources are not looked up to. They
have to struggle for everything. While those who have lot of money, they can
invest to acquire other resources to have a monopoly in the society.
Yes
, they must come forward a help poorer countries so they can develop their resources
to feed and educate their people. it is ethically and morally responsibility of
richer nations because they have taken the advantages of natural and other resources.
Now they should pay back by helping poorer nations.
