Describe a restaurant that you enjoyed going to.

You should say:-

Where the restaurant was

Why you chose this restaurant

What type of food you ate in this restaurant and explain why you enjoyed eating in this restaurant?

Frankly speaking, I love eating out with friends and family members. There are many restaurants offers national and international foods at affordable price with full of hygiene. Here I would like to talk about a restaurant that provided delicious food in the birthday party of my best friend. That was not the place where we often go. It was the choice of birthday boy. The restaurant named as Tummy full is run by one of the most popular chefs of our town.

The Restaurant Tummy Full has been serving quality foods in breakfast, lunch and dinner.  The Restaurant is located in the heart of my town and it’s easily accessible.  We chose this restaurant because it was offering national and international food in affordable price. Most of the people of my town were attracted to the quality and varieties offered by the restaurant.

We enjoyed many kinds of food with some beverage. One of the most loved item was paneer tikka . it is a food that serves grilled cheese with some vegetables roasted in the oven to garnish this wonderful dish.

Paneer Tikka is very common food item in my town but people love to eat at Tummy Full.

We also enjoyed some non vegetarian items there. I must say that the restaurant stands out in the matter of taste, service and hygiene.  We felt home there. The restaurant offers home delivery and I have ordered many times. In the end I would say that the place is wonderful place to enjoy various kinds of foods and beverages.

Restaurants

Why do you think people go to restaurants when they want to celebrate something?

Celebrations in the hotels and restaurants have become a trend and need of the time as well. Hotels are restaurants offer quality foods, beverages and services. People are nowadays not interested to arrange parities and functions at home because it may be chaotic and difficult to serve people satisfactorily. Restaurant and hotels have transformed the way parties and celebrations organized .people  are now more inclined to celebrate their heart out without caring the expenses.  There are some hotels and restaurants offer various facilities that attract people to organize almost every kind of get-together in hotels and restaurants.

Which are more popular in your country: fast food restaurants or traditional restaurants? Why do you think this is?

There is no denying the fact that fast food has become very popular in almost every society than traditional foods. I often experience restaurants that offer quality fast foods receive maximum numbers of customers.  Traditional foods are prepared in homes when people celebrate any cultural or religious events, some hotels and restaurants offer traditional foods when they see a demand but fast foods have ever green market young people want food that is readily available in affordable price. It takes time to prepare traditional food so people avoid eating such food outside.

Producing Food

Example Questions

Do you think there will be a greater choice of food available in shops in the future or will there be less choice?

In my opinion, we are going to have more food choices in coming times. Because international foods are attracting decent number of customers in my country and that fact stands everywhere. Governments and some private organizations have also shown their interests and worked in food industry. The farmers have changed their approach towards traditional crops like rice and wheat; they now grow season vegetables and pulses needed throughout the year. There are some African and Asian countries they don’t grow foods they require, may experience food shortage in upcoming times as population is on rise.  Such nations should work to develop fertile lands so they can fulfill their food needs.

What effects has modern technology had on the way food is produced?

Poly houses have changed the way crops grown and technology is transforming the ways food produced and processed. Gone are the days when food could be fresh for couple of days. Today we have machines that can keep the food fresh while maintaining its quality. I have seen many kinds of machines used for food processing they are deployed to maintain the freshness of food so it can be consumed for many days. There are some countries in Africa and Asian where they can not avail fresh food every day so technology is deployed to cater to their needs.

How important is it for a country to be able to grow all the food it needs, without importing any from other countries?

I must say that every country must be capable of growing the foods it needs. Because importing foods from other countries is not a good gesture. We have seen that people face severe food crisis when import is halted by national and international issues.  There have been times like wars and pandemics when people faced food shortage and led to starve. People are forced to consumed unhygienic food because of the import is hit by issues. If the country is fully capable of the foods it requires may serve its people better in tough times.  I would say that governments must motivate farmers to produce foods more than the requirement so it could be stored for future.
