How often
do you wear jewellery? Why? Why not?
To be true
to myself, I don’t wear jewellery often. I have a pair of rings and golden
chain that I wear occasionally.
What
types of jewellery do you like the best? Why? Why not?
I take very
little interest in wearing different kinds of jewellery. In my society boys
don’t wear. I have a pair of rings and a chain made off gold that I wear on
special occasions.
When do
people in your country like to give jewellery? Why?
People are
in my counties exchange jewellery especially in the marriages. you know that
there is a tradition that the bride’s family give some jewellery groom and
groom’s family give many kinds of jewellery to bride. Bride receives ear rings, necklace, anklets
and many more to mention.
Have you
ever given jewellery to someone as a gift? Why? Why not?
Last year,
my cousin sister got married. As a brother, it is the tradition that I am to
give her any kind of jewellery to her. One the day of marriage I gave her a
pair of ear rings and a ring to her husband. I got there jewellery prepared from a well
known goldsmith of my town.

Frankly
speaking , I am not science student , in school days I struggled to understand
scientific formulas and terms. I joined tuition classes to keep pace with other
students. But today I find science very interesting and educating. Recently I
have started watching a science based program The Oasis in the Space which is
telecast on DoorDarsan which is a national TV Channel .
This
program is run to educate and boost the interest of young students in space
research. Every Sunday at 9:00 PM, I watch this program. This program is about
how astronauts work in space station .There are some pre-recorded real time
videos of astronauts and scientists performing different kinds of tasks in
special costumes. This program teaches
how an astronaut trains himself for different kinds of weather and
circumstances to complete his projects. The challenges he has to go through to
perform every day task. I was out of mind when I got to know that they cannot
use water there , their height is one or two inch increases when they work in
space station far away from the atmosphere of the earth .
I
have got to learn many astonishing facts about an astronaut’s life , how he trains himself for two years
under the sea. And changes his eating habits too. The space station and how it
works. This was really interesting to see scientists and astronauts floating to
perform the research they have been assigned.
I
found it very intriguing to me because the way they were performing I have
never seen anybody doing that before. Especially their training programs to be
eligible to go for the research. In
short I would say that space science is an interesting field with lots of
amazing facts to understand.

Young
boys and girls are taking interest in science now days. I have seen young
students choosing science subject, like physics, chemistry and biology. Earlier
there were 5 students who would show their penchants for science streams.
Governments have started teaching science related subjects in remote areas also
the trend seems to go up in the future. This is the need of hour also. The
world needs more scientists, doctors and engineers to make the world a better
place. We often hear scientist breaking new grounds in their respective fields.

Why
do you think people today might be better at science than their parents?
This
is quite true that people have better understanding of science than previous
generation. We are equipped with tools that make science day-today life part.
Now we can relate to it. Technological
advancements help people to be familiar with science to perform their daily
errands. We have noticed massive advancements in medical field. Now doctors can
perform any kinds of operations and treatments. in past people would hardly
believe that something like that can happen our not. We often see on media
circulating many stories of discoveries that can help us. Such developments
make us better at science than our parents.

How
do you suggest the public can learn more about scientific developments?
I
would say that people can find many ways to learn about scientific discoveries
and developments. There are many TV channels based on science, people can spend
time watching such channels. There are many museums which record the previous
scientific discoveries, young people can visit there. In my countries
Governments have built many museums in the name of great scientists where
people often visit to learn about the discoveries and scientific breakthrough
they made for the nation. If one has to gain upper hand than many crash courses
available online people must enroll in such programs.

Scientific Discoveries
What
do you think are the most important scientific discoveries in the last 100
years?
I
thank the scientists, doctors and engineers who have made lot of discoveries
and developments which make our life easy. There are many discoveries and
breakthroughs to name. X-ray machine, cardio-grapy , internet and computer are some of the live
changing discoveries and developments. People in past with limited resources
achieved their missions. We have better medical facilities today than past. In
past 100 years scientists have made inventions to help human all over the
world.
Do
you agree or disagree that there are no major scientific discoveries left to
make?
I am not a science students, but the one who
studies science, knows better what to bring in the world. Common men and women
in the past without their scientific discoveries, but great scientists brought
many things to reality that people never imagined. Every year, we hear lot of news of
discoveries and development in many branches of science. I have heard that a scientist from Russia is busy
developing a technology that will male people mortal. He is working to surpass the idea of death.
Tel- Avin University has been working on a project to develop human organs. It
was surprising when I heard that they have developed a heart which functions
like natural human heart. Such discoveries are yet to come

Who
should pay for scientific research governments and private companies?
Governments
divert a considerable amount of budget to scientific research and developments
every year. So far it is governments that work to invest in this area. I think
private companies must come forward to fund scientific research and
developments. I also believe in the idea that private companies must come
forward to invest in the area for mutual benefits. In western countries many
companies and business tycoons help government in research works. I think this is good sign for future.
