Today problem is that copyrighted materials such as music, movies and books are freely available on the internet, causing owners of the works to lose money.

Do you think this is good or bad? 22 January 2022 – Germany

.    1. Piracy, theft, stealing, 2. Copyright infringement – violation of copyright, 3. Intellectual property, 4. Digital piracy, 5. Financial lose, 6. Disrespect of expertise 7. Demoralize 8. Circulating, 9. Disseminating, 10.

The internet has enormously benefited musicians, authors, producers, singers and those who produce contents and sell online. However, they suffer huge financial lose because of digital piracy. I think this is demoralizing and the copyright act must be practiced to prevent the intellectual theft.

To begin with , the people from different disciplines work hard and invest their all resources to generate quality materials in the form of books , movies , songs and tunes to educate and entertain people such creators take the full advantage of the internet to reach the audience beyond boundaries. The internet enables them to gain popularity and make substantial amount of money within a short span of time. But some unscrupulous people steal their paid contents and disseminate it to large numbers of people this act decreases the revenue for the owners.

I believe this is evidently the violation of copyright policy people involved in must be punished or they should compensate to those who possess certification of ownership. Using copyrighted products without the consent of makers conveys a negative message to the society and disrespect the expertise. People should be remunerated for their works so they are inspired to produce more quality contents to fulfill the needs of their audience. If their work is theft and made available freely they may stop concentrating on their respective fields and the folks who don’t pay and consume pirated contents should retrospect themselves if they are at fault. It is the morale duty of us to pay for the music, books, songs or any digital products we want.

To summarize, circulation of copyrighted material without permission cannot be supported as it makes owners lose money and feel deceived.
