What
kinds of email do you receive about your work or studies?
Well I am a
students, I usually receive mails related to my curriculum. I have bought some
subscriptions of teachers they send me some lessons related to English and
other subjects.
As a full
time working professional, most of the emails are from my work; this is one of
the most reliable ways to communicate professionally. I receive emails related
to the projects that I am undertaking.
Do you
prefer to email, phone or text your friends?
Mostly I
prefer to give calls to my friends, because it is easy to convey the messages.
Email is wonderful website that saves all the records if I have any important
document to share I use this website. I rarely text my friends. I feel
comfortable making calls to my friends.
Do you
reply to emails and messages as soon as you receive them?
Well , I
don’t delay to respond any mail because mails are important now a days.
Sometimes it depends of the nature of email weather I am to reply it or I have
time to write it later. Mostly I receive mails that I have to answer in short
span of time.

Are you
happy to receive emails that are advertising things? Why/why not?
In my
opinions all advertisements are not annoying.
Such mails work as reminders to buy something that I need. But
advertisers who bombard its subscribers mails many times a days is very
disturbing. I don’t enjoy that. I have discontinued many subscriptions.

Answer:-
I have
stayed in many hotels in my country which are renowned and grand. One thing I must
tell that I usually avoid staying a hotel because I don’t feel home there. Here
I would like talk about a hotel that I think is grand and best. The hotel is
located in Holy city Amritsar. It is Holiday Inn. I have never seen such hotel
before. It is one of the largest hotels of my county.
The facilities
this hotel provides are world class. The waiters and waitresses are well
trained they can guess that the guests need, they communicate in a polite
manner. The menu is full of national and international cuisines. I would say
that if you name any national and international dish, what is available in
minutes.
What makes
this hotel unique is its designs , wallpapers and food quality. I have stayed
in hotels but the Holiday Inn stands out. It makes you experience the best
services and foods. Once you stay and spend time next time you won’t stay in
any other hotel.

What
things are important when people are choosing a hotel?
I believe
people consider some key point before they reserve a room in a hotel. Firstly they
think of the budget of staying in a hotel, secondly the facilities and foods,
third people are conscious about the privacy and personal security. I have realized
that people don’t want to book a hotel where they lack privacy , they are ready
to pay extra but cannot compromise their personal security and privacy. Some hotel
don’t provide food facility, people avoid such hotel. They want everything
under one roof.
Why do
some people not like staying in hotels?
There are
many things play in mind when we choose not to book a hotel. Most of the hotels
are expensive and less secure and furnished. To maintain a high standard hotels
charge unrealistic amount of money. Those factors keep people from booking a
hotel. The verities of foods matter the most now a days. People want hygienic and
verities in the food if hotels fail to provide people want look back to them.
Do you
think staying in a luxury hotel is a waste of money?
Staying in
well furnished and modern hotel is a fashion among people who have a lot of
money. They often book luxurious hotel for personal and professional stays.
Booking such hotels is expensive that it may be avoided. There are numbers of
hotels even in small towns offer better facilities in lower rates. It is better
to choose such places where money can be saved and purpose also fulfilled. But
renowned personalities like film stars, sportspersons, business people and
politicians love to stay in luxurious hotels. Because they are the people who
have started this trend. They make lot of money it does not bother them to pay
more.

Do you
think hotel work is a good career?
Hotel
industry has been one of the most flourishing industries. The industry
contributes considerably in the economy of the nation. I have seen people
enjoying rewarding career in hotel field. But it demands certain skills and qualifications,
every time one has to perform his duty at his best. If one does not deliver he
may be sacked. I think it is a very good career option if he or she gains the
skills and qualifications. In coming times the hotel industry will expand so it
can be a better career choice people to make.
How does
working in a big hotel compare with working in a small hotel?
Working in a
big hotel is very challenging and reward as well. I have some friends who work
in grand hotels earning substantial amount of money while those who work in the
hotel which don’t attract high paying guests earn very little. People who are
employed in the hotels which have high paying clients demand great skills and
management they must be good at everything they provide.
What
skills are needed to be a successful hotel manager?
Managerial
position is valued a lot and it requires certain skills to be successful. The
manager is a very good communicator; he is supposed to manage everything that
comes his way. He should be good at handing any chaotic situation, manage
people who work under him . And the most important aspect of this job is that
he must be capable to getting the work done as better as he can.
