The

out for shopping if they need anything. We often sit together in the evening to
gossip.

together.

Answer:-
We come
across so many surveys and questionnaires on social media platforms conducted
by public and private organizations. Such companies seek people’s opinions for
products and services they use or want to use in the future.
Recently I
participated in the survey conducted by Vodafone India a mobile networking company. The survey was conducted to confirm the views
of people who are already subscribers of their sim card and services and
changes and improvement they want.
This survey
included more than 50, 000 people across India and were asked to answer the
questions and send their opinions in 50 words. There were some questions about current performance
of the company and customer satisfaction.
I answered
all the questions and according to the experience I had with the company. In
the end there was a comment box in which participants were asked to write down
what they feel or want about the products and services , I suggested that
unused internet data must be provided in weekends. Because in weekends people
are free and they consume more date in their free time.
After a month,
the company announced that its customers can enjoy the unused date on weekends.
I felt valued that the company heard my opinions and worked on it. The changes
people wanted, was made and implemented by the company. This really made me
glad.

Questions
What
kinds of organizations want to find out about people’s opinions?
The opinions
of people matter to every public and private organization in the world. Knowing
people’s point of views through surveys and questionnaires has become very
common and need of the hours. I have experienced that telecom and e-commerce
companies are more inclined to know what people think and want . We often come
across many surveys on social media networking sites by telecom and e-commerce
companies. Such organizations and company confirm the views of people about the
services and products they use and changes they may see. Companies like Vodafone, JIO, Airtel , Aircel
and so on provide mobile networks and
often run many surveys .
Do you
think that questionnaires or surveys are good ways of finding out people’s
opinions?
I would
say that this is an effective way to know the views of people. Many
organizations today conduct surveys and serve people with questionnaires to
what people think about certain products and services. By knowing and working
on people’s opinions companies can design better crafts and services. It may
help them increase in sales and profit. Without knowing that people want or
think about certain services or product companies may lag behind when It comes
to sales and profits.
What
reasons might people have for not wanting to give their opinions?
I have also
avoided many questionnaires and surveys because I found it difficult to fill. There
are some uncommon questions I encountered so I chose to leave. There may be the
reason for other people also. Many people don’t participate because of the language
barriers and complications. There are some misconceptions that surveys may
steal their private data and share the information with unscrupulous people.

in School
Do you
think it would be a good idea for schools to ask students their opinions about
lessons?
I believe
this is a great idea to ask students their opinions. It may help them
understand the lessons lucidly and disperse the clouds of doubt. It can help
educators in a great way that educators and teachers can prepare their lessons according
to intellectual level of the students. Teachers
can confirm whether students have learnt the lessons or not. I think this is crucial to know the opinions
of the students whatever they are taught.
What
would the advantages for schools be if they asked students their opinions?
There is couple
of advantages for asking students their opinions about the lessons they have
learnt or will learn. It may help them understand the lessons better while
listening to their fellow students. Secondly
the class in more interactive and vibrant, all students will be eager to voice their
opinions about the lessons they have been taught. Asking students their opinions
prior to the delivery of the lesson help student become more curious and active
to learn. It may help them brainstorm their mind and make a better thinker.
Would there
be any disadvantages in asking students opinions?
There may
be disadvantages when students are asked their opinions. It may cause chaos in
the class and too many opinions are confusing.
Other students can make fun of their fellow students if he is unable to
voice his opinions. But I believe that this should be the part of every lessons
that students would have to give their views verbally or in written form.
