some crucial tips to help you improve your reading. You need to practice as
more as you can, Practice unless you feel comfortable.
Strategy-1
a. Try to comprehend the meaning of each headings , figuring out the main theme or idea of the heading can be made easy by paraphrasing.
b. Circle or Underline key words given in each heading , for instance name , places , dates, nouns , read them carefully . this stem may help of spot the correct heading.
c. Find out the differences and similarities between the heading and passages . sometime headings are identical to passage or completely different. Key words will help you find the similarities and differences easily.
d. Read and understand the first two and last sentences of the passage and try to figure of the main idea. Go to heading and find the similarities or differences.
e. The heading the strikes better with the passage must be chosen.

2 – Run through all the passages
This must be
done as quickly as you can. read every passage without skipping any sentence
and work. this will help your mind to relate the information with the words you have circled and underlined.

3 -Eliminate headings
There are
two or three extra heading to test you, find out the heading that doesn’t suit
the information given in the passages. Eliminate such headings, now you have
headings for each passage this technical may lead you to specific headings and
information also.

-4 – One Heading – One passage
Pick up
single heading and single passage which you find similar and different . Apply
this to every passage and heading , this may clear the clouds of doubts in your
mind.
